Moscato™
A bright pop of color is perfect for small spaces!
With its hints of orange/peach around the margin, this handsome little barberry evokes the sweet Moscato™ wine it is named for.
The orange/peach margin, which fades to green in summer, contrasts with lime green foliage.
It is densely branched with a spreading mounded shape, making it ideal to bring plenty of visual appeal to small garden spaces.
Can be used as a substitute for boxwood in colder climates where boxwood is not winter hardy.
Bred by Don Sellinger and introduced by Bailey Nurseries.
Here are three great reasons to grow Moscato™:
- Foliage emerges lime green.
- Green foliage contrasted by orange/peach margin, which fades to green in summer.
- Densely branched with spreading, mounded shape perfect for small spaces.
