For the perfect pop of color that will reliably bloom, again and again, you can’t beat Let’s Dance® Blue Jangles®. This is a big-leaf hydrangea that blooms on both old and new wood, meaning you’ll have beautiful blooms throughout the growing season. At the same time, it has a tight, compact habit so it can fit easily into any garden landscape. That combination of growth and size is unusual among hydrangeas. The large, full blooms range in color from a heavenly blue in acid soils to a vivid pink in alkaline soils.

Maintenance Notes:
Let’s Dance® hydrangeas are best left unpruned – though they bloom on both old and new wood, you’ll enjoy many more blooms over a longer period if you don’t prune them except to remove any dead wood in spring, once the new growth has emerged.
Big-leaf hydrangeas benefit from a good layer of shredded bark mulch to keep their shallow roots from drying out. In colder climates, they should get at least six hours of sun, ideally in the morning; warm-climate gardeners should ensure plants are shaded during the hottest parts of the day.
Fun Facts:
The Let’s Dance® series of reblooming hydrangeas were developed in Michigan. They went through a gauntlet of brutal treatment to ensure that they would still create new wood flower buds during the growing season when it counts.
