Clinton Nurseries of MD, Inc is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven general manager to direct and manage our organization’s business activities and plant growing programs.

Duties:

• Enforcing company policies
• Coordinating production and shipping operations
• Monitoring and motivating employees
• Managing operational and labor costs
• Ensuring good customer service
• Improving administration processes
• Overseeing production operations including fertilization, watering, trimming and spacing plants
• Overseeing shipping operations
• Training supervisors and staff
• Creating and managing budgets
• Evaluating performance and productivity
• Researching and identifying growth opportunities
• Generating and managing SOPs

Education:

• Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration or agriculture
• Good knowledge of different business functions

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proactive individual with 5 years managerial experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
• Strong work ethic
• Good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Willing and able to perform a wide variety of hands-on tasks when needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to hit the ground running.
