Little Devil is an improved variety of ninebark with an upright, spreading habit and fine-textured, dark foliage that helps it stand out from other ninebarks.

Contrasting nicely with the burgundy foliage are clusters of small purplish-white flowers that bloom in June.

A very hardy shrub, it is pest and disease resistant and needs very little pruning. It is also mildew resistant, so there is no powdery white residue to mar the look of your garden.

Little Devil is a good substitute for barberry in areas where barberry may be invasive.
