Plum Magic

Bold color blossoms like magic!

Bred by Plant Introductions Inc., Plum Magic is a semi-dwarf form of crape myrtle that more than lives up to its name as bold plum-purple foliage magically springs to life with bright fuchsia-pink blossoms by July. 

The foliage eventually matures to a rich, dark green that beautifully sets off the flowers. Once the first flush of flowers is deadheaded, it will bloom again in late summer.

A rounded shrub with a full, dense shape, it has excellent resistance to leaf spot and powdery mildew.

A perfect way to add a punch of color to foundation plantings or as an informal hedge.
